It is aged naturally for 24 months. There is a lot of manual work at every step of production, so it can be called handicraft (product artesanias).

Cut: Roughly cut leaves, medium sized stems and minimal amount of powder particles.
Aroma: intense, it smells of forest, somewhat smoky-woody.
Taste: strongly woody (conifers), complex and full-bodied. At first the taste is gentle. The intensity and character unfolds with the next pours. Slightly sweet with notes of nuts and grass.

Fertility: one portion is enough for over 1 liter of water with taste retention.
In general, Arai is of very good quality with intertwining flavor nuances. First well-behaved, later she shows her character.
