Estancia PN-1

The words 'Erva' and 'Chimarrão' are misleading here. It's not a classic Chimarrão. This is about the unaged Yerba Mate tipo PU-1, or rather PN-1*.

PN-1 is called Padrão Nacional for the Brazilian market.

Cut: it is similar to the Uruguayan PU-1, but is green and fresh, without stems.

Scent: herbal, like a flower meadow.

Taste: fresh like green grass or flower meadow, without smoky notes. It is reminiscent of the classic Chimarrão.

Recommended: for people who prefer milder tasting yerba mate. It will also appeal to connoisseurs looking for unusual tastes.

*PN - Padrão Nacional: National Standard 1 (PN-1) – at least 70% of the leaves and a maximum of 30% of the other parts of the branch.
