organica bioThere are yerba mate brands with the official ‹Organica› certificate and also those that are organically grown, but without this certificate. This certificate is not given free of charge and therefore small farms do not use this document to invest the money in plant care or for the employees.

geröstet tostada quemadaRoasted yerba mate, tostada or quemada in Spanish, is a specialty type of yerba mate. It is roasted or burned, whereby it takes on a brown color. When pouring over it, it can withstand hotter water (90-95°). The taste is also different: like coffee, dark chocolate or cocoa. An ideal companion to desserts. You can add sweetener and/or coffee cream or milk (for milk/cream do not use natural products such as decorative pumpkin, but use glass or ceramic).
