Cut: quite finely ground by Argentinian standards, with small stalks and a good addition of powder. Even the cut can suggest that we are not looking at a run-of-the-mill yerba mate.
Scent is intense with a noticeable smokiness. It smells of smokes, campfires and conifers.
Taste: rather heavy, earthy-smoky, concrete, with notes of smoke and grain. The tannin is clearly noticeable, which is reminiscent of strong black tea.
Energy dose: very large.
Recommended: a good suggestion for those looking for new flavors and who love strong concrete flavors.
